Things I wish I could say to myself, age 16

  • Don't be so sure of what you want out of life. Because then you might get exactly what you want and realize it isn't what you thought it would be.
  • Drop everything and read a book (or three) by Margaret Atwood.
  • What/who you love the most will throw you off the most.
  • You're not too old to play on the swings.
  • Wear glasses instead of contacts. They're classy, trust me.

  1. I think reading a book by Margaret Atwood is good therapy anytime. Most of my Atwood books have disappeared over the years, but I still have my second favorite - The Edible Woman.

I also still have Things Fall Apart, which is not an Atwood book, but which is amazing, which I believe belongs to you. If you gave me your address, I'd mail it to you.

    Miss you.

  2. I have your copy of Dancing Girls, dear. You'll get it back eventually. :-)

And I've read Things Falls Apart. And I own a copy of that as well.

    Miss you!
