Love Your Body Day; wear purple

Today is Love Your Body Day. I didn't even know about it until earlier this week, when I received an e-mail about it via Wayne State's women's studies listserv. I found some great posters on this blog: Communications of a Fat Waitress. I've included one with this post, but if you'd like to see more, you can click on the link; they're hanging up all over campus. :-)

Also, I'm wearing purple today in rememberance of the recent LGBT suicides. I hope you are, too.

  2. No problem, and I did enjoy it--hope you did, too! I'm pretty busy (with 17 credits and a job), BUT Mondays are actually pretty low-key for me: I've only got one class and don't work. What time do you usually meet? And where exactly in the UGL?

  3. We meet at 8pm, I normally try to find a free study room and put the location on the white board at the entrance to the UGL. If you decide to come by the next meeting will be november 1st.
